Snapshots: In Transit, On a Train in Hong Kong

With the blazing heat it's unmistakable - summer is here. And with every summer comes road trips, beach trips, out-of-town trips, out-of-the-country trips...whatever your "trip", everybody seems to be in transit at least once during the summer. So I thought I'd share a week's worth of photos depicting just that: being in transit. Here's the first one from Hong Kong, taken aboard their highly efficient trains. I like that this picture captures a glimpse of some of the passengers I was with on the train that day.

Summer is calling! So are the chori burgers and isaw sold seaside in the beautiful shores of Boracay. Best food to eat while catching the famed Boracay sunset, or while sloshed after a night out partying.

The closest thing I've visited to a castle. For now, I'll make do with dreaming of the real castles in Europe. Someday I will get there!

Snapshots: Bukchon Hanok Village, Seoul, South Korea

On our last day in Seoul, we found ourselves strolling through streets lined with picturesque traditional Korean houses in Bukchon Hanok Village. In our coats and our boots, we traipsed through these streets, already used to the autumn-to-winter cold, trying to relish the last moments of our trip.
